Considering the demo for Doom on XBLA is only E1M1 I am not surprised the restrictions of extremely short demos is getting absurdly worse.

Install it within Compatibility Mode. I had to do that for 2000 sp4 at least

RC cars, powerboats, anti-gravity hover cars it doesn't matter if it's 3d racing with shooting. Believe me the "shooting" part really culls out a lot of racing games already.

It's another 3d racer which you can fire these upon your opponents:
- A water balloon
- A rocket
- A few rockets
- A big rolling iron ball
- Some electrical stuff
- I think I forgot some.

It's overhead 3D as in 2.5D somewhat. A very late DOS game that started development mid-1995 toward a early 1996 release but delayed hard into a market displaced outdated late 1997 release. A third dimension is used for occassional airstrikes and air attacks that happen on the player and weapons ...

OpenGL 1.5 is merely a specification. The only "OpenGL versions" you get come with your video card's drivers.

Do they qualify as adventure games? I mean games like 3D Body adventure or 3D Dinosaur adventure, or Great Adventures by Fisher Price... I obviously don't mean the Jumpstart series, but they're borderline on the adventure genre as well since they're learningactivity games with a plot.

It wasn't until Wipeout 2097 was added when racing+shooting games were added. There's quite a few out there.
