FBI Hostage Rescue Idol FX / Activision Value 2004

The FBI Hostage Rescue team is called in when negotiations have broken down and there are only a few crucial minutes left before the hostage takers start killing the hostages. When you start each of the 10 single-player missions, you are given a diagram of the building you are about to enter with several key marks indicating possible entry points and other info. However, even if you kill all the terrorists, if you don't lead the hostages out of the building within the time limit, you lose! What makes this even worse is that the hostage's artificial intelligence and pathfinding is so bad that you'll spend almost all your time trying to get them out while they keep getting stuck on objects or wandering off by themselves and even through closed doors. Speaking of doors, sometimes unlocked ones open on their own accord or frequently open partway, pushing you backward from the doorway every time you get near leading to a lot of wasted time just getting through them. The hostages also say the same lines over and over so that you wish the terrorists would just kill them to make them shut up. Simply awful game.
