Raven Squad is an RTS-FPS game playing on present day battlefields. This is one of the first games blending FPS and strategy (tactical RTS approach) together, creating a new and unique genre. The player is able to switch among the two modes anytime. The RTS tactical elements are balanced with the cover-to-cover FPS fighting, with emphasized tactical decisions. A fully detailed and developed unique combination of RTS gameplay experience mixed with faster, dynamic gameplay and squad controlled possibilities in FPS view. And in the two-player cooperative campaign, you can take charge of your squad and play through the entire game with a friend online. In 2005, the hungarian developers Digital Reality announced Ghost Wars, a RTS-FPS game that should be published by Hip Interactive, but the publisher disappeared, and the game too. In 2006, Digital Reality announced Field Ops, a RTS-FPS game that should be published by Freeze Interactive, which was created by some people of Hip Interactive, but the publisher disappeared again, so as Field Ops in march 2007, a few days before the release date. In 2008, it's the hungarian developers Atomic Motion who worked on a RTS-FPS game, using the "DR Technologies engine", and now the game is finally gold ! |
