Super Blazing Vortex Pug Fugly Games 2006

You sit in a miniature space rocket and shoot down enemies. They fly out of some kind of cosmic eye or some branch of a black hole. The enemy is blessed abundance and enormous variability. Every enemy is shooting at you, so it's better to send them to the burning hells before they even get a shot. But there are so many enemies that you will rarely succeed. You'll often have to maneuver between shots, and to make matters worse, the space eye itself shoots meteorites at you at fairly short intervals. Your task is not only to accumulate as many scores as possible for downed enemies, but above all to destroy the main eye. After that, you will reach the next level, where a new, more powerful eye awaits you. The novelty is the rotation of the entire playing surface. You start classically at the bottom of the screen, but as soon as a warning appears, the playing surface rotates 90 degrees and suddenly you shoot from the right side, for example. Everything is in slow motion at the time of rotation, but the game continues as normal. The graphics are at a very solid level. Above all, I appreciated the great variability and graphic distribution of enemies, who are really visibly different from each other at first glance. Considering the enemies are relatively small, this is a very well done job. Blurring when moving the image also works effectively. The gameplay is the same as most quality shooters, with one very nice change. And that is the already mentioned rotation of the image. I must also mention the very good audio page; both music and sounds are well done. You can also enter your final score in an online leaderboard. Super Blazing Vortex is a very good space shooter that comes with one very interesting new feature.
