This is a fanmade 3D version using Game Maker of the classic arcade classic horror game. You play as a guy in a hockey mask who resembles Jason from Friday the 13th movies. You struggle to save you beloved Jennifer from evil forces and are must battle against an army of ghastly supernatural creatures. The original game was infamous for it's splatter effects where enemies explode in blood or slime. The chainsaw and shotgun weapons are taken from Doom and the monster sprites from the original game. In 2012, an updated Gold Edition was released. The graphics have been fixed, and many elements have been tweaked to refine gameplay and overall presentation. Return to Splatterhouse 3D has been considerably updated in addition, with new monsters and maps added. | ||
