The successor to Robinson's Requiem. Silmarils
saw the potential of RR and released this indirect sequel. This time
around you, as a bountyhunter, land on an alien planet. You'll fight
the natives who are armed with spears, bows and some more advanced weaponry.
Just like in Robinson's Requiem you have to keep track of your needs
regarding food and water, your limited gear, temperature and need for
healing. Saving can be done anytime and anywhere. The graphics offer
high resolution surroundings but no hardware acceleration. Minor points
are also the limited freedom of moving and a lot of clipping errors.
Trees and other objects seem to pop out of the ground at random. Still,
Deus is an interesting game and should be looked at by people who like
a realistic world. |
