This time this mission pack takes place with Duke in
the yule tide season. One shoots on new opponents such as snowmen and
well-known enemies are now in changed outfits (Pig-Cops with Christmas
caps, Enforcer with reindeer antlers, etc.). The first levels are familiar,
even if there are changes and you start in different points than before.
Later you'll find yourself in new levels which leave an ambivalent impression.
Some are absolutely amusing, while others are frustrating and boredom
spreads. The representation of the new opponents succeeds partially.
Altogether though this pack is rather weak.
In 2013, a Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition by Devolver Digital that included Duke Caribbean: Life's a Beach, Duke it out in D.C., and Duke: Nuclear Winter used a new engine that runs natively under new operating systems with enhanced OpenGL graphics. |
