This game comes from New Jersey-based nFusion Interactive, whose previous
work includes the Deadly Dozen and the Cabela's hunting games. In Elite
Warriors: Vietnam, soldiers will operate in small groups deep in the
Southeast Asian jungle. Top-secret missions include rescuing downed
pilots, capturing enemies, and plotting targets for air strikes. Gamers
will lead Green Berets and Montagnard tribesmen into Laos across several
multiple-objective missions. The game was developed under the tutelage
of Major John L. Plaster, author and decorated Vietnam veteran. "This
is the way we actually operated, they got it right," Plaster said. Excerpts
and photos from Plaster's book, Secret Commandos, will be included with
the game. Each mission in Elite Warriors: Vietnam was developed with
the direct assistance of this former Studies and Observations Group
(SOG) member and best-selling author who served three full combat tours
as a recon team leader and led small 6-8 man recon teams on covert missions
along the Ho Chi Minh Trail in Laos. In the game, you will fight along
side Green Beret commandoes as you conduct classified missions deep
in Southeast Asia. By using patrol techniques still being used today
in Iraq and Afghanistan you will rescue downed pilots, ambush convoys,
seize enemy prisoners, and discover targets for air attacks. |
