This game is based on the fight between Americans
and Japanese on those Pacific islands during the second World War. It
starts in Tarawa Beach and ends on the hard-to-capture island of Iwo
Jima. Fighting places are beaches, little villages, caves and shelters.
In parts you will have support from small troops of 1 to 3 men who also
can be instructed (I only did this if they blocked my way). Also, they
have the stupid habit of running into oncoming fire. The graphics can
be compared to Vietnam 2: Special Assignment, so they're nothing to
be excited that much about. Also, this game from Valusoft is completed
in not much time. I only needed 1 1/2 hours to finish the complete campaign
and therefore it's not really a value based on its price. |
