This is a top-down space shooter that can be played in single player or two players split-screen mode. The game features full screen rotation+scrolling engine ("Seek & Destroy" style). Star Cage can be played in two modes. In the regular story mode the player needs to pass 4 stages (plus a boss stage), filled with various alien space crafts, in order to escape a mysterious imprisonment. In the special head on head mode two human players fight each other with a simple objective - destroy the opponent. Features: 12 enemy ship models, featuring different characteristics and attack patterns; ability to upgrade your ship with various components after each stage; circular playfield; Sound Blaster music and sound effects; special boss stage and end game cinematic. |
