This free advertising game is similar to Skyroads but you can control a ship and shoot a weapon. Although it is a classic scrolling space shooter, everything is rendered in 3D and the universe is represented by a kind of endless highway, along which your ship moves. Gradually, the welcoming committee of enemy squadrons is flying towards you, and thanks to the stable base, you will also find non-traditional "terrestrial" obstacles in the form of dangerous erupting volcanoes. The watchtower is also an original idea: a kind of column with a rotating searchlight. If they catch your ship, they will send a swarm of stars and meteorites. There are not many enemies, practically only a few types of ships and mobile cannons. However, when combined with other obstacles, the game turns into a beautiful spectacle full of great effects and explosions. A stunning visual experience will further enhance your weapons. They gradually improve with the collection of eggs, the weak current of missiles increases, side and rear currents come, self-guided missiles, smoke missiles. In addition, you can use a special weapon that completely cleans the entire area and helps you from the worst mess. A completely new element not encountered in other shooters yet is the method of shooting. You can let your fingers rest and keep the key pressed. However, the rapid intensity of the missiles stabilizes at a certain low cadence, which is enough to remove obstacles, but can not cope with the entire squadron. However, as soon as you press the key, the cadence accelerates again. This little thing keeps you on your toes at all times, and controlling your weapons is a pleasure. The game itself is an endless flight and lasts until you waste all your health. Healing methods are minimal, you only have one life, so save your health as much as possible and avoid all collisions (it's easy to say that :-)). The technical processing is of a high standard. The graphics are in 3D and are a feast for the eyes, the effects are absolutely breathtaking. The camera in motion deserves praise, and if you don't like the 3D view, you can switch it to the classic arcade view from above. However, the musical accompaniment could have been more pronounced and the child's laughter at the end is a bit... uhm... weird. |
