This is a first-person shooter available in a free-to-play model. The game allows both to choose the faction, traits, abilities and ultra skills of the hero. It also depends on the player what weapons (primary and secondary) his character will use, as well as what accessories and equipment he will be equipped with. It is worthwhile to systematically adjust the equipment to the conditions prevailing on the battlefield. The factions featured in the title have been borrowed from other Ubisoft series promoted with Tom Clancy's name: Ghost Recon (Wolves), Splinter Cell (Eszelon) or The Division (Outcasts and Purgeons). XDefiant features 3D visuals and has a large pool of unique maps, further minimizing the risk of repetitive matches. Shootouts are conducted at a fast pace in arenas where teams of 6 players can compete against each other. Linear gameplay is also available, such as Domination or Escort. Game servers will shut down Jun 3/2025. |
