In the 2000s, Doka launched a series of compilations of various small games called Gaming Club. There were both quite successful ones, for example Gaming Club: Domino (2005, Windows) , and frankly bad ones - Gaming Club: Casino (2007, Windows). Separately, the games presented on them have never been released, except that they were selectively included in other collections of the studio, for example, "Games for the Office", as well as non-serial ones. "Gaming Club. Classic Shooting Games " is a rare collection of low-quality shooters of different types. The content is divided into four sections: 1. Space. Here you can play variations of Space Invaders, one-screen shmaps and something reminiscent of Asteroids. The graphics and gameplay are kept at the level of amateur crafts and are somewhat reminiscent of the work of the notorious (in extremely narrow circles) Spanish studio 5 Union Software Group. 2. Defender. Again clones of Asteroids, but with a large area of action, as well as even more primitive than in the previous paragraph, single-screen shmups. 3. Shooting games. We shoot cubes into a tetris-like glass, completely filling in the lines to remove them, shoot at a shooting range, at ducks, at parachutists, and so on. There is even just a darts. 4. Tanks and guns. The final section contains three-dimensional "tanks" on relief maps of inconceivably low quality, as well as three-dimensional virtual shooting galleries with static turrets - we destroy planes, tanks, asteroids, and so on. None of the games presented in the collection will be able to interest more or less discerning gamers. They are able to brighten up short-term leisure during the lunch break, and this is where their applicability ends. |
