This is a shareware Asteroids clone for Windows. Players control a ship that can be moved around freely in a single-screen 2D environment, shooting asteroids into tinier pieces until they are completely destroyed. It features a two-player player mode (both cooperative and competitive) and a level editor, here called a Wave Editor. For retro gamers who want to remember the look and feel of the original version, the game also features a Retro Preferences section where you can disable the improvements such as the end level boss ships (and not the simple flying saucers) or disable the Rapid Fire bonus. Registering the game features: Unlimited game play (shareware is limited to 10 waves); 4 new complete wave sets, each with 50 distinct waves; Load in your own custom waves; Create custom waves with the Debris Wave Editor; Give yourself any bonus items, weapons, powerups and more with the Debris Saved Game Editor; 4 new alien creatures, including the "classic" alien; Secret cheat codes; New wave variations, secret waves, and gameplay options; Gobs and gobs of new graphics, over 9 megabytes; Printed manual; No more shareware nag screens. | ||
