This is a Spanish side-scrolling futuristic and (apparently) plotless flying game. The beautiful looking space fighter flies by itself from left to right across the screen and has to destroy various dangerous and hostile objects. They differ in that the second (hostile) ones do not intend to cause us any harm (asteroids, flying bubbles ...), but the first ones (different types of spaceships) do, so they actively fire on our boat. Ammunition as such in the game is endless, which, unfortunately, cannot be said about fuel: formally, it is enough, but four units of it are spent almost every second. To replenish the stock, you need to collect bonuses with the letter F. There are also bonuses with the letter T, which are also important - by raising this, we temporarily gain the ability to shoot not one, but three missiles at once. The game has several levels, each of them ends with a hyperspace portal, flying into which we go to the next one. "Lives" per level are given five pieces, in case of death, we are reborn in the same place where we died. It should be noted that any contact of the ship with a dangerous object, a hostile object or the last ammunition fired ends in instant death. The levels themselves are not that very long, but from a certain point it becomes very difficult to play - when enemies and (or) asteroids gather on the screen in such numbers that it is simply impossible to fly between them. Graphics - CGA, but very nice, especially since the lack of color diversity is fully explained by space as a setting. In principle, as can be concluded from the above, there is nothing revolutionary for the subgenre in this game, and no one planned it, probably. It's just another "scroller with a couple of features" that has become a phenomenal rarity against its will. And now he (and you) have the opportunity to make an acquaintance. For all connoisseurs of this kind of games, who have already played everything known, the game will be a great gift. |
