This is a massive game with a procedurally generated universe for the player to do whatever they wanted in. You can be a pirate, trader, bounty hunter or just a pilot its up to you. This game was written in Dark Basic Classic and proved that any language could make amazing games if you have the commitment to the project. In 2023, Star Rogue a remake of the game began development with a much more defined galaxy for the player to explore and interact with. As with the previous game the whole experience is you can play the game your way, if you want to be a cutthroat pirate wanted by everyone that's up to you. Unlike the previous title this game will also have a overarching background story as well that will also tie up some of the loose ends that were left at the end of sf2000. |
