An entry for the Retro Remakes Competition 2004. This is a remake of the game 'Starship Hector' by Hudson Soft that was released in the year 1987 for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). 17 years after the glorious Starship Hector defended the Earth against invading bio-mechanical aliens, an unknown much more dangerous species of high-tech aliens is attacking planet Earth. Large regions already are under alien control. You are the commander of the only starship with the technology needed to beat this invasion back: The new STARSHIP HECTOR NX-74205. Search and destroy the alien command ship and use the opening portal to warp into the next level.
