Black Eagle Michael Mönch 2001

If any of you remember the first quality 2D rocket shooters of the nineties, you'll agree that they had something going for them. Autofire heated up all possible weapons systems on our rocket with endless salvos, and crowds of aliens (smacks, Ufouns, pigs) exploded or otherwise disappeared in the darkness of space. Brain off, reflexes at maximum, pupils dilated. The delight. To be that tribal individual again for a while, unencumbered by civilizational stresses from employment, from an important position, from responsibility for everything possible or impossible. Just get on the racket and become the hero of the day. The Black Eagle game from the Germanic province is nothing more than a remake of the first Paradise shooters. The graphics in DOS guise are not glamorous, but they faithfully depict the atmosphere of the game. Sounds just right and the included editor for creative individuals is just the icing on the cake. So if you want to switch off mentally and refresh yourself, get into your spacesuit.
