You are the commander of a space colony on a remote asteroid in the Xyzaxia system. You've been here for five years without incident, but suddenly the Xyzaxians have decided that they don't want you around anymore and are determined to wipe you out. Crater Base is a retro-styled arcade shooter inspired by Missile Command. The game is designed to invoke the aesthetic of late 1970's arcade machines, and capture the gameplay of games of that era. Use your controller or keyboard to move your target around the screen and press fire to launch missiles at incoming enemies. Every enemy that is destroyed will release a power up that your rover will collect to replenish your missile stockpile. |
