This is a fan remake of Star Maze, a game created by Eastman Computing Inc. in 1983 and published by Sir-Tech Software and released on Atari 8-bit, Commodore 64 and Apple II computers. The game is clearly inspired by the Atari classic: Asteroids, but it is much more interesting. The player controls a rocket in a large space labyrinth full of enemies and crystals to collect. The main goal of the game is to collect all the crystals and bring them back to the base. Fighting enemies is necessary when they get in the way of the crystals. This remake of this classic game retains all the original rules, but the graphics and effects have been refreshed, while still maintaining the 8- and 16-bit style. The game runs in a web browser, so you can play it on any device that will run it. Technology used - it's written in JavaScript, using the Phaser library for graphics rendering, keyboard handling, and sound effects. |
