Sonic Princess Software House Parsley 2001

During nighttime, the terrain of the Earth is susceptible to inexplicable changes. Human beings called these strange occurrences the Phantom Phenomenon. Soon, with the power of technology and magic, they learned that threat is lurking in the depths of our planet. The underground city Ge-Pang was built to avert it. One day, a SOS alarm sounds in the city. Leila Reifido, who possesses the magical power of levitation as well as technological skills, sets out to counter an unprecedented robotic assault. Sonic Princess is part of the Mugen no Meikyū universe, built like a side-story featuring related themes and protagonists. Unlike the earlier RPG installments, it is a side-scrolling shooter. The player navigates the flying Leila through a linear series of fairly short stages heavily populated by enemies. The gameplay system revolves around building up a special gauge by quickly eliminating enemies and collecting crystals left by them. Once the gauge is full, Leila can shoot missiles at enemies or execute special powerful all-screen attacks. Stages also feature portals that lead to secluded locations with treasure chests which contain random power-ups (speed or defense increase, healing, etc.) or stat-reducing items. Once Leila runs out of her three health units the game is over. It is possible to save the game after each stage. Anime-style still screens serve as cutscenes between levels. Some of them contain explicit erotic images and sexual situations.
