PREPARE YOUR CROSSGUNS - CrossGunr is a bullet hell inspired caravan shmup for the pico-8, made for the Lazy Devs Basic Shmup Game Jam, and with the help of Lazy Devs Academy Tutorials which can be found at the bottom of this page. CONTROLS: Z/Button1 to shoot, HOLD for AUTOFIRE; X/Button2 to deploy EX Wave when READY, HOLD for AUTODEPLOY; Enter/Start to Pause or Reset Cart. TIPS: Use your CROSSGUNS to SAFELY ENGAGE THE ENEMY; SHOOT THE ENEMY CONSTANTLY to BUILD EX; Use REPAIR when in DANGER! REPAIRS will REAPPEAR IF LOST; KEEP MEDALS GOLD and SILVER for HIGH POINTS. CROSSGUNR DX: FEAST YOUR EYES - NEW FREE DX UPDATE WITH REDONE ART BY HELICITY (go tell him how awesome it is) ... and maybe some music tweaks. CROSSGUNR D PLUS ... ANOTHER FREE UPDATE - So I took the code from CrossGunr: Infinite, and added: New Graphics and Adjusted Music; Less slowdown, smoother gameplay ( sorry cave fans ); New EX mechanic ( bubbles ) - no bar gained during EX's ... will make it a bit harder but still tuned to perfection; Repair Locator (for when you're busy dodging hellfire); Boss Healthbars (yay); Score differential (how close are you to beating your high score); 5 Scores saved on cart - PERMANENTLY; Restart Run in Menu (For when the run is forfeit); Reset Scores in Menu (For no reason at all). |
