"Dandelion" is a stardust action game where you gather stardust to make stars and go crazy. Since it's mouse operated, you can rest your chin with one hand and eat potato chips while playing. It resembles a shmup but is in the Platine Dispositif genre i.e. an unstable genre schism in spacetime that will always spit out something 100% unexpected. This time it's a Mouse-controlled Witch Time Sling Shmup Racer. It's 100% mouse controlled, one button stops time, then you circle bullets, making them stationary. You highlight them with your mouse witchgirl cursor and then slingshot them. There's a global timer, so you get time extensions after fights, and getting hit means a bit of lost time (not death). The enemies fly in and out like Galaxian, then there's an immediate boss fight with another little girl who hates your mouse cursor. At least this time the game is in an existing language and isn't centered around crashing your ship girls. |
