An action-adventure FPS which combines the time-honored problem solving of adventure FPS games - shooting people in the face and getting through not-so-difficult puzzles - with metaphysical ponderings. You can craft and mod stuff as well. This is a modifed version of the game Avenging Angel. The voice-over was extended. 15 new quests were designed and added. New animations were added. The performance issues have been ironed out, really ironed out. The game world also underwent significant changes, especially two out of three larger outdoor areas were redesigned. Container cave (one of the demo scenes) was completely rebuild from the ground up. All particle effects are new. Terrain is new. Water is new. New weapons were added and some old ones were redesigned. The overall game feel and balance has been improved significantly. The entire lighting system was redesigned and every single scene relit. The save system has been overhauled. The inventory system was overhauled. The game takes place in a steam-powered world where the player assumes the role of a handyperson tasked to repair a malfunctioning beacon. It combines the time-honored problem solving of adventure FPS games - shooting people in the face and getting through not-so-difficult puzzles - with metaphysical ponderings, which you can happily ignore. The art style of the game takes a deep bow to the genre originators from the mid-aughts with a cartoon-esque flair. Explore every cranny and nook of the open sandbox world, and that's about 10 hours. The soundtrack of the game includes tracks from mystical metal band KuuDelta and ambient master Cyborg See Cyborg Do. Features: A single player Action-Adventure FPS; Crafting and Modding; Moody and broody; Pretty slow-paced: smell the flowers, shoot things, loot, repeat; Indie AF; Combat Arena mode; Sandbox / Semi-open world and fast travel. |
