AquaNox is more than just a mere sequel of Archimedean Dynasty. Fight your way through a heartstopping three-dimensional underwater world. A secret scientific experiment goes fatally wrong and has unforeseen consequences for the citizens of AquaNox. Caverns that have been concealed before by the continental slopes or have been well hidden underneath the seabottom are now collapsing and releasing horrifying monsters. It is now the 27th century and mercenaries such as 'Emerald' Dead Eye Flint ply their deadly trade among the warring forces of man and nature. Gamers take the role of Flint, taking command of a loosely aligned force of fellow mercenaries who hire themselves out to the powerful leaders of this inhospitable world. Players fight vicious battles against crazed mercenaries, mighty military forces and hideous sea monsters. The game contains more than 30 single player missions, 9 different player vessels, more than 40 different enemies and a storyline with more than 70 NPCs in a giant world. There's multiplayer options for LAN and Internet for gripping deathmatch and team-based battles. The game was one of the first applications to fully use the T&L effects by supporting the NVIDIA Geforce 3 Ti graphics accelerator. The game engine was used for months to market Nvidia's flagship GeForce 3 video card. | ||
