This "2005" edition of Cabela's Deer Hunt features more maps, more species of deer, and 18 new missions. The nine types of deer in this year's simulation include the mottled Piebald, true Albino, Mule Deer, Blacktail, Fallow, and rare, dark-coated melanistic varieties of whitetail. The game's nine hunting regions contain three maps each, including unlockable areas in elite, private game ranches. This release also brings clay, trap, and skeet shooting to the console series for the first time. As usual, players can customize their set-up from a selection of thousands of pieces of Cabela's brand apparel and equipment. An "instant gratification" Quick Hunt mode is also available. |
