As Jack Noel, an elite gunman for the U. S.
Central Intelligence Agency, you track down and take out terrorists,
revolutionaries, mercenaries, organized crime thugs, and drug cartel
operatives. Weapons at your disposal include a pistol, machine gun, and
sniper rifle. The latter has a scope for zooming in on specific body
parts since innocent bystanders often surround the target. The game
features six levels that take you to locales such as Iraq, Colombia,
and Russia among others. A full text briefing explains the particulars
of each mission, including the background and targets. CIA is based on
the Quake 1 engine and hasn't
licensed and created a new engine for this game. During gameplay, the
player will be reminded of other Wolfenstein and Doom-like games which
also have been published years later than they should have. That's the
same feeling you get in CIA. The graphics are outdated, the enemies
behave like stupid drug dealers and terrorists - don't expect high A.I.
On different continents you are going to go in shooting in an uncomplicated
way. Basically, this game is a nice and aceptable spare time filler
but which will be out of your memory very soon. |
