This add-on for Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 2003 focuses on the 1944 D-day invasion of Normandy. Flying for one of five nations - America, Australia, Britain, Canada, or New Zealand - virtual pilots will do their part to help the Allies reclaim Europe from Hitler's Germany. New damage models are included for all aircraft, and new flight models are available for the Spitfire Vb, IXc, and IXe, the P47D, the P51D, the P38J, the Tempest Mk V, the B25-H, and the B26-C. Players can also choose to fly for the Germans, from the cockpit of the Bf109 G10, FW 190 A8 or A9, or the D9 (Dora) interceptor. Striving for historical accuracy, the expansion also adds new scenery to the game, and makes improvements to terrain rendering and sound effects. | ||
