The "2006" edition of Cabela's-branded "extreme" hunting series aims to deliver another realistic, full-featured experience. Virtual hunters will face dozens of dangerous, big game animals, each in a detailed re-creation of its natural habitat. Terrain is affected by factors such the season, weather, and time of day, so even a familiar patch of land may change significantly over time. As with most hunting simulations based on the popular brand of outdoor outfitting, this game strives to present a realistic the challenges and rewards faced by real life hunters. As this release has players going after the big game, however, the prey may become hunter and the hunter, prey, with a single mindless misstep. Hunt 36 big game animals through 12 extreme locations. Three modes of gameplay include "Quick Hunt," "Action Zone," and "Career Hunt." Authentic hunting gear includes rifles, bows, crossbows, knives, scopes, and more. | ||
